Visitor Information

Hot Springs National Park is a short 2-minute drive from our hotel. To access the park, drive northwest on Malvern Ave., turn left on Spring St., and then right on Central Ave. Turn right onto Fountain St. for easy access to the Visitor's Center. There's a parking garage on Exchange Street, just one block west, and limited metered parking near the center. Admission to the park is free, though bathhouse services require a visit to a registered bathhouse.

Bathhouse Row

Hot Springs is famous for its historic bathhouses, each offering a unique experience. Buckstaff Baths has been in operation since the 1920s and continues its tradition with separate floors for men and women, and no reservations required. The Superior Bathhouse Brewery, the only microbrewery in a national park, combines craft brews with the soothing hot springs experience. Quapaw Baths offers luxurious European-style services including facials and clay body wraps. Lamar Bathhouse houses the Bathhouse Emporium, offering spa products and books on the park's history. Ozark Bathhouse, now an art gallery, preserves its Spanish Revival architecture while showcasing local art.

Mountain Drives

Explore the park's scenic beauty by car, starting with Hot Springs Mountain Drive. This historic carriage road takes you to the top, where you can enjoy a picnic area, the Pagoda overlook, and the Mountain Tower. For a more relaxing drive, take the North Mountain Loop to return to Fountain Street. West Mountain Drive offers stunning views from three overlooks, including Bathhouse Row, Trap Mountains, and Lake Hamilton.

Viewing Spots

For a panoramic view of the park, visit the Hot Springs Mountain Tower, which rises 216 feet above the ground. You'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Ouachita Mountains and Diamond Lakes. If you prefer a more leisurely exploration, take a hike on Sunset Trail, a nine-mile loop with beautiful mountain outlooks suitable for beginners.
